Obituary

Louise B Wolkoff, age 88, of Poughkeepsie NY/Port Richey, FL passed away peacefully on December 5, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Louise was born April 3, 1931 in Pok, NY. She was the daughter of Marguerite and Joseph Longobardi. She married Ralph G. Wolkoff in 1950 in Pok, NY. She was the eldest of nine siblings.

Ralph and Louise were proud owners of Red Oaks Mill Hardware Store for many years. They had a love for traveling and a deep love for their family. It brought Louise great joy spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters Linda Luongo, Lisa, Laurie and Michael Biscardi. Her siblings Patricia Chamuris, Flo Herrington, Donald and David Longobardi. Louise is also survived by her grandchildren; Nicole and Anthony Palmietto, Jason and Lindsey Wessels, Krista and Nicholas McGovern, Stefanie and Jason Schuhay, Melissa and Dan French. Great-grandchildren; Elena, Abby, A.J. Palmietto, Samantha and Chelsea Wessels, Sofia McGovern, Penelope, Genevieve, Wilhelmina, John French and many nieces and nephews.

Louise was predeceased by her husband, Ralph in 2005. In addition, her siblings Lillian Anthony, Joseph, Peter and Vincent Longobardi. Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1-4PM at the Wm. G. Miller & Son FH, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Wow such great memories Louise was an amazing friend of my mom and pop and a great guardian of all us neighbor kids I am incredibly sorry for your loss and have you all deep in my heart and in my thoughts. Love you
