Obituary

June Christmas, 73, of Hyde Park, NY, passed away on January 4, 2019 in Vassar Bros. Medical Center. She was born on February 12, 1945 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the daughter of Patrick E. & Hilda E. Storms Coyle. She married Edward Christmas on February 9, 1979 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He survives at home.
June was employed at PDQ in Staatsburg, NY as a metal fabricator. She was a member of B.P.O.E. #275 in Poughkeepsie, NY and loved gardening, dogs and being on a bowling team for many years. She was on the Board of Directors of Venture Lake Homeowners Association.
Survivors include a son: Clarence Brown of Poughkeepsie, NY; daughters: Patricia (John) Imhoff of Port Jervis, NY; Kimberly Ward of Milton, N.H.; brothers: Dana ( Shirley) Moshier of Courtdale, PA; Patrick (Mary) Coyle ,Jr. of Poughkeepsie, NY; sisters: Mary Moshier of Raleigh, NC; Barbara Tompkins and Martha Meyer both of Poughkeepsie, NY. There are several grandchildren, great-grandchildren nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother: Thomas Moshier in 1991.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family wishes to thank the nurses and technicians for their exceptional care and comfort provided to June and her family. Memorial Donations may be made to Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Ave., Hyde Park, NY 12538. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wm. G.
