Joseph Anthony Marino Sr. passed peacefully in the hands of God on January 25th, 2021. Born on February 13, 1942 in Staten Island New York, Joseph was the son of the late Frank Marino and Jennie Valentino Marino. Joseph graduated from Curtis High School in 1959 and then honorably served six years in the United States Marine Corps. Joseph was a dedicated public servant who spent 39 years in Law Enforcement and was a graduate of St. Johns University. Joseph was also a Lt. Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol and was responsible for assisting numerous cadets in achieving their goals. Joseph enjoyed spending his time with his family, fishing and riding motorcycles with his fellow Marines as a member of the Leathernecks Motorcycle Club, but his most prized possessions were his grandchildren who were the strength and light of his life. Joseph is survived by his children, Frank Morris and wife Christine, Joseph A, Marino Jr. and wife Nicole, Daniel F. Marino and wife Stephanie, Tiffany G. Doyle and husband Devin, Jennilee R. Marino and significant other Brian Donohue as well as his grandchildren Dominic, Gabriella, Anthony, and Bryana, his Sister: Leanore Schimming and Nephews: Ronnie, Brian and Henry. In addition, Joe’s best friends Ernie Mattei, Corie Trombino and all the dedicated Marines in the Leather Neck Motorcycle Club, (Semper Fi). Calling hours will held on Saturday, January 30th from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Wm. G. Miller & Son FH, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Services will be at 6:30PM in the Funeral Home.
