I'll always remember what a kind, compassionate, loving mom Mrs. Gottshall was. I have fond memories of spending time at Karen's house, playing Barbies in the living room, grocery store in the basement, teacher ("Mrs. Danko"!), and I had my first taste of filet mignon along with the very best mashed potatoes on earth at her dining room table (she was a fabulous cook and homemaker). Mrs. Gottshall was sort of like a second mom to me and a great role model that I looked up to. She was in the details and never forgot special days. She was the one person who remembered to wish me a happy 16th birthday on the day. I will never forget how that touched my heart. I was so blessed to have the privilege of sharing some of my life with her.

Dear Harry
So sad to hear of Joanie's passing. We have many fond memories of her when we were all camping at Burton Island, your visits to Vermont and ours to NY. She was always friendly and hospitable and made us feel like family. She will be greatly missed.

I know how close you were to your mom. You went and saw her every day for lunch went shopping and annoyed talking and being together ever day. she wasn't just mom she was your friend. I remember the day we went to Wilcox Park and had a picnic; your parents my parents and the kids. Let all your good memories hold you.
Love and light to you and your family 🙏❤️🙏

Dear Karen:
Helen and I emend our sympathy on the passing of your Mother. Let the good memories sustain you in this time of sorrow. I remember you coming to the DOT with your Mom and Dad when you were hired--I think you were about 12 at that time-- they obviously cared for you and loved you. Always remember the happy times.

Aunt Joan

I still remember many visits to your home for New Years and your visits to New Hampshire with great fondness. They are among my favorite memories of my childhood.

We all love you dearly.

Rest well in GOD's arms. You will be missed by all.
