Dewey was my dearest friend. We met somewhere around 2004 when I ventured out to Snowbird to get away from Pennsylvania and Vermont skiing. Because I was skiing alone, he kindly asked me if I would like to ski with him and his friend Bob Lutz, and we did. After my trip Dewey and I kept in touch, and each season thereafter we spent skiing, hiking, going to movies, plays, dinner and whatever activity Dewey could think of. He was a wonderful person whom I will miss, and will always keep in my heart. Pratima Strong

From dawn to dusk you always had to keep busy, now while you’re in heaven please take the time in heaven to relax & smell your rose garden. Love your daughter Cindy 💛

I first met Dewey my Freshman year 1975 at Vassar. He and Tim Lutsky played tennis daily on the Vassar courts and as the attendant, we all became close friends. The friendship lasted over 40 years with Dewey sending me Birthday cards every single year. He would call now and then and keep me posted on updates. He and Dorothy even had me as their house guest in 2002 and came to my graduation at Vassar, my only family there. Dewey was fun, funny, uplifting and a kind soul. I send big hugs to Dorothy and the rest of the family. He is skiing right now in heaven. Mona S. Rich, formerly from Guam now in Texas.
